Matt Reed Photography – Australian Landscapes

Posted by sandnsurf on October 2008

Australia is a beautiful place, full of wonderful photographic potential and amazing scenery. I recently had the pleasure of stumbling across a fantastic photographic gallery of Western Australian images – Matt Reed Photography at the MRP Gallery.

Matt Reed lives in Perth, Western Australia. His love for the outdoors and passion for travelling, camping and surfing; combined with great photographic vision is evident throughout his works.

I am extremely fortunate to live in a beautiful part of the world with such diverse landscapes. It is very exciting and satisfying as a photographer to capture my favourite places, the way I see and remember them. From small, seemingly un-interesting objects, to stunning wide-open landscapes, there is an endless amount of beauty in this great country. As a lover of the ocean, I am drawn towards the seas. Forever changing in shape and light, Western Australia’s stunning coastline is where I most enjoy spending my time and making photographs. It brings me great satisfaction when someone chooses to have one of my photographs as part of their home. It’s a chance for me to share a beautiful place in Australia, the way I see it.

New images are being added all the time and updated on his blog – well worth a view if you are an admirer of Australian landscapes.
