There are many different ways to define, store, save and refine your search preferences. I just want to touch on a couple of fun initiatives from the field of search. The ability to personalize your search within multiple parameters is appealing and by logging in to various search engines you can save your favorite searches, edit the sites you trust to be searched and ultimately create your own ’search zone’ which can be shared with friends.

The RollBar Bookmarklet lets you search whatever site you’re on, or use any of your SearchRolls from anywhere. You can also add sites to existing SearchRolls, and create new ones on the fly. Good level of integration with Firefox and has the added ability for you to share your ‘Rollyo Site Search’ with your friends. Here is an example of a generated Rollyo page to enhance searching an individual site.
